Watching the nor’easter blow in

Team Gulo Gulo hit the mountains in advance of the nor’easter scheduled to dump anywhere from a foot to two feet of snow over the next two days. Beautiful packed trail to the summit, with the exception of a few very deep post-holes left during the last meltdown. They are now frozen solid and as deep as 2-3 feet. The day clouded over as we neared the summit, but the views were still terrific as always. Ran mountains C. and also M.S. as a side summit. I am feeling much better now running in the mountains, getting fitter and faster. I think I am reaping the benefits of no longer working a side job at the cafe that kept me running around on my feet all day. I am very much enjoying teaching!

In this photo S and P watch the storm blow in. They are best buddies.

Random thought of the day: Whatever happened to rollerblading? That was fun!
