My four Unbreakable Boys have quite a story. The sire is a powerful, serious, KNPV line male who is titled to IGP3 in Europe and works as a detection dog for explosives in the Netherlands. He is similar to his son, Pax, in the work, with a full, hard bite, large prey and defense drives, and he takes the fight with the helper very seriously. He needs calm, fair, and very clear handling. He passed on strength, power, and the love of the fight to his sons.
Pax is large, and powerful, quite similar to his sire, and the dog I kept to train and learn from. He is aloof/neutral in public, but like his sire, not interested in petting from strangers. This dog is something else, he has a real presence with a ton of confidence, a huge amount of energy and drive, and loves to work with me. He is truly a dog who has my back, and is a partner. We work in IGP.
“Unbreakable Promise” aka Vice aka Archer had a different story. There was a clash of reality vs. expectations. Archer now lives with a trainer and is training toward his French ring titles. Archer goes bikejoring/trail running, and works with a demo-dog pack. This was a learning experience for me about making sure a new owner values the whole dog and has realistic expectations, and also has the lifestyle and stability to take on this type of puppy.
“Unbreakable Bond” has more defense and less active prey/pushiness than Pax. He is a mellower dog energy-wise but a serious dog. He is correct for the breeding/breed type. He is training in mondio ring and also a trainer group play/demo dog.
“Unbreakable Grit” suffered a serious, near-life-ending accident as a young puppy where he was run over by a vehicle. He was in ICU for a week, then underwent multiple treatments and surgeries. As a puppy he showed a lot of natural openness and was a sweet, drivey little pup that loved to play with full, strong gripping. He has his mondioring 1 and is working toward his MR2 title, he is a hiking/demo dog for his owner, a dog trainer, as well.
