Over a foot of fresh snow blanketed the hills Friday night and into Saturday. An April Fool’s Day gift. The dogs enjoyed chasing snowballs, and resting on the sun-dappled snow drifts in the back yard. I less than enjoyed the backbreaking work of shoveling the deck and driveway, but the quiet and peace of a snowday was appreciated. Next we will go on some spring-skiing skijors.
