The nor’easter came a blowing in, bringing with it about 16 inches of dense, blowing snow. It was all storm on Tuesday, followed by some incredible bright sunshine, distilled on the higher peaks by windblown powder. I can’t say the snow is super welcome right now, as I was just getting used to packed trails and travelling about without needing snowshoes or skis, but it does make the world clean and white, and the groomed nordic trails are packed-powder corduroy, which is rare for this area.
Enjoyed some hard work shoveling out and breaking trail, and now it’s time to get out and take in some sunshine and powder!
