Cold and wind don’t hold back Team Gulo Gulo! We hit the trails for a mountain loop, and the quiet, frosty chill was invigorating. I think the fluffy malis like it best when it is cold.

At the overlook at H.H. mountain loop today, Sirius started smelling some very enticing scents wafting up from the valley below. I captured my noble beastie sniffing the mountain air. Team Gulo Gulo had a wonderful run, enjoying the peace and quiet of the mountains in winter.

Never underestimate the mountains! They showed me their teeth today! I usually hike/run fast and light, and haven’t been carrying any survival type gear.
