“Jax X Moriah”
Four beautiful boys, the “Unbreakable Boys” litter. All are spoken for and have wonderful sport/companion homes where they will train and title in Mondio-ring or IGP, and be loved as wonderful companions as well. I am so happy. These tiny, hungry pups will do great things.
Breeding was Oct. 13, lucky Friday the 13th! Puppies are due Dec. 11 and Moriah is confirmed pregnant. It looks like a big litter.
I am very pleased to announce Q’Iron del sol Casa IGP3 as stud for my next litter ! He is an incredible dog out of excellent working and titled bloodlines- a tervuren out of malinois, balanced drives for all three phases of IGP, handler attentive and focused, easy in the house, and high confidence. He will add full, calm, crushing grips, deep nose tracking, and excellent guarding to this combination. Pups will be very handler-focused, “cheerleaders” in obedience, and love to work. Jax is a certified detection dog working with his handler for police/military.
I selected this stud because his bloodlines are tervuren directly out of malinois, and these lines are unusual (and perhaps brand new) to working tervuren in USA, adding diversity and strength to working tervuren genetics. His bloodline includes dogs titled in KNPV PH-1, mondio ring, IGP (schutzhund), and working police/military. His dam, Nicki, titled to PH-1 and IGP3 – an impressive accomplishment for any dog but especially for a breeding female.
Puppies out of this pairing will excel in protection sports, working K9, scent detection, and many other working venues. They will be “thinking” dogs who require fair, thoughtful training. I expect high intelligence and high will to please and to work.
For these pups I seek experienced handlers and/or those working closely with an approved and qualified trainer. The bloodlines I’ve chosen will produce strong dogs for anyone interested in protection sports. Puppies will not be suitable as ADA service dogs, and will not be sold for this purpose.
I am always happy to speak with anyone about my goals and program, my priority with my small breeding program is to produce tervuren that are on par or even better than the top working malinois being bred in USA today. Everyone will have a different idea of “best” when it comes to working dogs. In my program, I prioritize confidence, intelligence, drive to work with the handler (not just for the toy or bite), and ability to live life with their handler outside of just the sport. This balance is achievable but requires I be very selective with my breeding dogs and program.
A strong nerve (confidence), balanced drives, and love of handler are my top 3 priorities.
I am thrilled to be able to add this strong stud to my breeding program, and bring over some new, powerful, and diverse working tervuren bloodlines.
Pups will have enormous potential to excel at the highest levels in protection sports.
This will be a very interesting, unique litter, with bloodlines you will not find anywhere else in North America. I have room for one or two more puppy deposits. Pups will arrive Dec. 11 Pups are $2,500.
A Litter (October 2020)
I am extraordinarily pleased with Moriah’s first litter. These versatile pups work hard and relax at home with the kids, are easy socially appropriate in public, and love to please their people.
Moriah’s pups are excelling in everything from disc dog to IGP to Police K9. They are confident with good nerves, balanced prey and defense with fast switches and clear heads, can handle pressure, and are very agile. The pups possess unerring intelligence, and extreme drives- ball, tug, and engagement. There are few, if any working tervuren of this quality being produced in the United States at this time.
Helpers working with dogs out of this litter have asked to buy pups for Police K9 due to the social openness in the pups, combined with their ability to work and handle pressure (balanced defense/prey). This is combination makes for a fantastic dog who can work for you and live with you.
I have started a waitlist for the upcoming litter. If you are interested in a working tervuren, please contact me. I require you either have breed or breed type experience and/or are working with an approved trainer.
Please note, I will not ship pups. If you are not able to drive to pick up your puppy, you will need to fly here, meet me, and fly the pup in cabin back to your home. If this is not possible, there are pet-nanny transport companies you can look into, but I will not be shipping in cargo.
